Easy Christmas Candy Recipes

Even if you're not just a big candy eater, Christmas candy recipes are very welcomed during the holidays.

No matter how much we vow to consume healthy through the holidays, regardless of how much we might swear off sweets, there will be something quite wonderful about having at least a small amount of delicious Christmas candy occasionally. It isn't all seasons in the end.

I make are just some of my favorite Christmas candy recipes at the start of the summer season. This is a busy time of the year, so it's advisable to utilize quick and easy candy recipes to make them if you have a couple of minutes.
                                                                 
Make things that are often stored, so you can make them before they'll be most needed. Of course not too much ahead or are going to certain to go away through the big day.



These fantastic homemade Christmas candies will be this type of hit at any event you host throughout the holidays. They are also a good addition for any occasion dessert table with other Christmas desserts.

Almond Bark Candy

Almond bark is so easy to make! It has for ages been certainly one of the best Christmas candy recipes.

You are able to vary the recipe to match your taste. Can't stand raisins? Simply leave them out. If you'd prefer peanuts or pecans instead of almonds, rely on them instead. Try making half of the recipe created using candy and half made with regular chocolate.

1 pound of white or regular chocolate
1/2 glasses of raisins
1/2 cup of almonds, chopped

Melt chocolate until smooth. Add raisins and almonds. Pour onto wax paper - this will be a fairly thin candy. Let cool, then get into pieces.

Tip: Try making the almond bark using 1/2 one pound of sweet and 1/2 one pound of dark chocolate and carefully stir them with the end of the wooden spoon or some other utensil to marble one last product. Be mindful though that you simply mix it a bit or else you will end up with tan-colored almond bark.
                                                                                         
Coconut Joys

Everyone seems to love coconut. This would be one of my mother's favorite Christmas candy recipes.

1/2 cup of butter or margarine
2 glasses of powdered sugar
3 servings of shredded coconut
2 squares (1 ounce each) of unsweetened chocolate

Inside the the surface of a double boiler melt the margarine. Take it out of heat. Add the sugar and coconut and blend well. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of the coconut mixture into balls. Produce a depression during each ball and set it on the platter or cookie sheet. Set them aside. Melt chocolate within the the surface of a clear double boiler. Fill the centers of the coconut balls with melted chocolate and chill until firm.

Tip: You can also add color to the holidays with the addition of 50 % of a candied cherry as opposed to the chocolate at the center. Use half red cherries and half green for a really festive look

Rocky Road Fudge

Who doesn't love rocky road fudge? There is something in regards to the mixture of smooth chocolate, peanuts and sweet soft marshmallows that brings a grin to the majority of faces.
                                                                                 
2 tablespoons of margarine
1 - 12 ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 - 14 ounce can of Eagle Brand condensed milk
2 servings of dry roasted peanuts
1 - 10 1/2 ounce package of miniature marshmallows

In a saucepan, melt the chocolate morsels with the Eagle Brand milk and 2 tbsp of margarine. Remove the mixture in the heat and add the peanuts and marshmallows. Stir it together thoroughly and spread it on to a waxed paper-lined 13x9 inch pan. Chill for two main hours or until very firm before cutting the fudge into pieces.

They're some of my historical favorite Christmas candy recipes. I share them with you with the aspiration that the friends and family have as much fun over items of these goodies as mine do.

In the end, it is precisely what the season is all about - celebrating with those we like.
